Virtual Financial Controller
The Virtual Financial Controller performs a pivotal role in a business. Our role is to ensure that strong financial procedures, controls and policies are in place to safeguard the financial management of a business. Some of the essential functions include:
- Monthly comprehensive management accounts and review annual budgets
- Attend your board and shareholder meetings when requested , practicable and appropriate
- Provide strategic assistance with product costing, and sales pricing
- Design, implement and review, on a regular basis, a sound systems of internal controls
- Advice on sources of asset, lease, debt and equity finance and recommend appropriate sources for specific projects, and assist in the preparation and negotiations of applications for such finance.
- Produce a year end audit file and draft statutory accounts for the business
- Advise and help implement appropriate corporate ,tax , business and shareholding structures for tax and business planning,
- Advise on appropriate dividend structures and related tax implications accordingly,
- Adherence to Companies Act 1989, Inland Revenue, HMCE, DTI & other regulatory bodies guidelines
- Cash flow: forecasting & monitoring
- Implementation of financial systems & controls
- Statutory compliance: Accounting standards
- Financial management of: legal, insurance, HR, bank, leases, property, etc
- Preparation of statutory financial accounts
- Special projects requiring financial modelling skills
